FBK – Fondazione Bruno Kessler

FBK is a no-profit private research center located in Trento. It is controlled by the local Autonomous Province and has about 600 employees. Its research is focused on both scientific and humanities studies. The Institute is divided into 8 centers and has several participated enterprises. The energy topic is one of the more supported, cross cutting between the Center on Materials and Microsystems and the Center for Information and Communication Technologies. FBK is involved on several National, European and Internationa programmes, including Flagship EU projects, EIT initiatives and National Technology Clusters.
