Main activities related to FCH JU are:
Production of Hydrogen (Natural Gas Thermal decomposition, Gasification, Fermentation, Catalytic Membrane and Microchannel Reactor)
Separation and purification (Membranes and modules),
Hydrogen Storage (Hydrides by SHS)
Hydrogen Safety (embrittlement of materials).
PEMFC (Development of MEAs, Nanocarbonaceous supports for catalysts, Deposition of catalysts by PVD, New Materials and Coatings for bipolar plates, Fuel Cell Testing Equipment).
SOFC (Development of Electrodes and Electrolyte by new PS Techniques, New Electrolyte Materials for medium temperature SOFC, Fuel Cell Testing Equipment)
Electronic control (BoP) and monitoring of fuel cell systems.
Electrolyzers (Development of Electrodes and membranes.
